Meet Our Team

Susan Niette is a licensed speech-language pathologist, specializing in dyslexia, learning disabilities, and hearing impairments. She brings over 44 years of experience in education and speech-language pathology to Best Practice Associates, Inc. She has received an "ACE Award" from the American Speech-Hearing Association (ASHA) for extensive continuation of education in her areas of expertise. She holds a lifetime teaching certificate in education and a license in Speech-Language Pathology from the state of Louisiana, as well as her Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Susan also serves as a national educational consultant and hosts professional development and workshops for educators. She is the only local therapist offering the auditory-verbal method for children and adults wearing cochlear implants and/or hearing aids.
